VESP#04 Mansion House Masquerade

Vespertine cordially invites the people of York and beyond, to a guided tour of the Mansion House with a twist!  This event will be a rare opportunity to see the Mansion House as it is awaiting renovation; the unfurnished, raw building will provide the perfect backdrop for performances and music. Contributions include photographs by fine artist Rhianna Mayhew, performances by Sheffields 25 piece ‘anti-choir’ Juxtavoices and two piece multi-instrumental band McWatt as well as a Mansion House inspired sound installation by Howlround. Following each tour everyone is invited to follow Ellie Tillotson and pals to Walmgate Ale House on Parliament street for some food and drink tasters as well as performances by host Luke Drozd, X-ray Cats Trio and games by arts collective Reet So.

This event is free and is part of York Food and Drink festival’s programme. Booking is essential as capacity is limited.

All tours are now fully booked, although no booking is necessary for the second part of the event at Walmgate Ale House.
